The world of professional wrestling is grieving the loss of a titan. Hulk Hogan, the larger-than-life figure who helped launch wrestling into mainstream pop culture, has died at the age of 71. The WWE legend passed away on July 24, 2025, after suffering a cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida. TMZ Sports reports that emergency responders rushed to Hogan’s residence early Thursday morning, where he was quickly taken away by ambulance. Just months prior, he had undergone a minor neck procedure and was reportedly recovering well. His resilience through years of surgeries had long amazed fans—more than 25 procedures in a decade, including back, knee, hip, and shoulder operations.

In recent weeks, speculation about his declining health resurfaced after a Florida radio host claimed Hogan’s family was preparing for the worst. While the wrestler’s representatives quickly dismissed the reports as exaggerated, his condition had quietly worsened behind closed doors. His wife, Sky Daily Hogan, had even reassured fans that he was still active and doing well just weeks before his passing.
