Story of the human Barbie Jessica Alves

Jessica Alves, formerly known as Rodrigo Alves, rose to fame for undergoing over 100 cosmetic procedures to transform into a “Human Barbie.” After years of altering her appearance—including fake muscles, rib removals, and multiple nose jobs—Jessica came out as transgender in 2020, saying she had always felt like Barbie inside.

Born in Brazil and raised in London, Jessica struggled with body image from a young age. Her first surgery was in 2004, and what began as minor changes turned into an addiction. Despite serious medical complications—including necrosis and breathing issues—Jessica continued her transformation, spending over $500,000 on procedures.
