Flash floods on July 4 devastated parts of Texas, leaving at least 50 d**d, including 15 children. Among the victims was 27-year-old Julian Ryan of Kerr County, who sacrificed his life to save his fiancée, their two children, and his mother. When floodwaters engulfed their trailer home in Ingram, Ryan broke a window to get his family to safety, slicing an artery in his arm.

Despite severe bl0*d loss, he helped everyone escape to the roof. His fiancée, Christina Wilson, said his final words were, “Sorry I’m not going to make it. I love y’all.”

Ryan’s family called him the “hero of this story” and urged improvements in flood warning systems. Texas officials, including Gov.

Greg Abbott and President Trump, pledged full support for rescue and recovery efforts.
