On a quiet Sunday evening, Bert and Edna, married 55 years, sip lukewarm tea on the porch. Edna suddenly says, “Let’s talk about our bucket lists.” Bert jokes, “At 87, my list is just ‘remember where I left my pants.’” But he admits he’s always wanted to skydive. Edna’s shocked. “You faint tying your shoes!” Bert shrugs: “If I fall, I’ll haunt the neighbor.” Edna agrees to do hers too, but before that, she has a confession.

When told he could eat anything without gaining weight, Bert explodes, blaming Edna’s health-obsessed lifestyle: “We could’ve been here years ago if not for your bran muffins!”
