The arrest of Tyler Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of assassinating conservative activist Charlie Kirk, has thrown a harsh spotlight on his family.

After Tyler allegedly confessed to his father, Matt Robinson contacted authorities. Family members later told investigators that Tyler had grown “more political in recent years.” At family dinners, they recalled him mentioning Charlie Kirk’s upcoming appearance at Utah Valley University and explaining why he disliked the young conservative star.
