Tragedy in Milan: Elderly Woman Killed by Neighbor’s Fall
The Incident
On Sunday evening, tragedy struck Via Fratelli di Dio in Milan. Francesca Manno, 83, was walking outside her home when her 70-year-old neighbor jumped from a fourth-floor balcony in an apparent suicide attempt. He fell directly onto her, killing her instantly.
The Man’s Condition
The man survived the fall but suffered serious leg injuries. He was taken to the hospital, where doctors described his condition as serious but stable.
Police Investigation
Authorities later confirmed that the man had attempted suicide. He has been charged with involuntary manslaughter (omicidio colposo) for causing the death of his neighbor.
