Trump ordered federal interventions in U.S. cities, including Washington, D.C., deploying the National Guard to enforce law and order. He later threatened Chicago, sparking concerns over potential misuse of military force.

Targeting Political Rivals
Critics say Trump has hollowed out federal agencies like the DOJ and FBI, using them to target political opponents. Federal prosecutor Erik Siebert resigned after refusing to pursue cases against rivals, including NY Attorney General Letitia James and former FBI Director James Comey.
