While promoting her book Melania: A Memoir on Fox News’ The Five, the former First Lady was asked about her husband’s bedtime habits.

“He doesn’t sleep much,” Melania admitted, before quickly adding, “He does, of course.”

When host Greg Gutfeld asked whether Trump wears pajamas, she immediately replied, “No.”
Pressed further on what he does wear, Melania stayed silent — instead making a playful zipping gesture across her lips.

Trump’s unusual sleep routine has been noted by journalists as well. CNN’s Kaitlan Collins discussed it on the Trading Secrets podcast, calling his energy on long flights “relentless.”

“He doesn’t sleep on these trips,” Collins said. “You’re going to Asia, and that’s your only time to rest — but Trump is always awake and talking.”

She added that he sometimes had staff members woken up mid-flight just to discuss upcoming meetings or react to news coverage.

Collins and her colleague Kevin Liptak once wrote that Trump would often summon aides in the middle of the night aboard Air Force One, “impatient to discuss his upcoming meetings or devise a response to something he saw in the media.”
