A senior official told Axios the change reflects how audiences now consume news, with more weight given to digital platforms and influencers. “The goal isn’t just favorable coverage,” the official said. “It’s about adapting to modern media consumption.” The White House Correspondents’ Association (WHCA), which has historically managed the seating chart, expressed concern.
