The accident occurred late last night on a rural highway outside of Nashville, Tennessee, and has since left fans across the country shocked and heartbroken.
According to early reports from local authorities, Tritt was traveling with a small crew on his tour bus after a private event when a multi-vehicle collision unfolded just ahead of them. Though Travis and his team were not injured, one of the vehicles involved was struck head-on, resulting in a fatality at the scene.
