During his campaign against Kamala Harris, she released her medical records publicly. Trump, however, refused. He claimed to be in perfect physical and mental shape, even as critics questioned his transparency.

The Oldest Second-Term President
At the start of his second term, Trump became the oldest U.S. president to serve. In April, White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella shared a report declaring him fully fit for duty.

The report stated:

Height: 75 inches

Weight: 224 pounds

Normal scans of eyes, ears, heart, and throat

Recent colonoscopy in 2024 revealing diverticulitis and a benign polyp

Doctors scheduled a follow-up in three years.

What Else Did the Report Reveal?
According to Barbabella, Trump takes medications for:

Cholesterol

Heart disease prevention

A skin condition (requiring topical cream)

He also underwent cataract surgery in both eyes. Barbabella concluded that Trump maintains strong heart, lung, and neurological function, crediting an “active lifestyle.”

Trump himself added, “I took a cognitive test… got every answer right. I had lots of tests—heart, other things.”

Viral UFC Photo Sparks Speculation
Despite the glowing report, a new image of Trump went viral on June 9. It showed him at a UFC event with fighter Kayla Harrison placing a championship belt around his waist.

Eagle-eyed viewers noticed something unusual—what appeared to be a tube-like outline under his suit. This led to widespread speculation: was Trump wearing a catheter?

Online Reactions Pour In
One viral post read:

“Trump appears to be wearing leg braces and possibly a catheter… The line down his pants isn’t a crease. It’s tubing.”

Another claimed:

“He’s absolutely wearing a Foley catheter. Every step he takes sounds like the sloshing of a warm Capri Sun.”

Yet, not everyone agreed.

One user countered:

“That’s a crease, not a catheter. Foley catheters are not routine unless post-surgery. Walkable patients use pads or self-cath.”

What Is a Foley Catheter?
According to the Cleveland Clinic:

“A Foley catheter is a medical device that drains urine from the bladder. It’s used when a patient can’t urinate normally or during recovery after surgery.”

The White House Responds
Fact-checker Snopes investigated the rumor. A White House spokesperson dismissed it entirely.

Steven Cheung stated:

“The President is in peak condition. These conspiracy theories, pushed by unwell individuals on social media, show a clear case of Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

He added:

“These are the same people who tried to claim Joe Biden was cognitively fine. They were wrong then, and they’re wrong now.”
