On Thursday, the official cause of d**th for Hulk Hogan was disclosed.
The athlete passed away from an acute myocardial infarction, also referred to as a heart attack, which happens when the heart’s blood supply is abruptly cut off.
Furthermore, it was disclosed that the legendary wrestler had been secretly battling chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), a kind of illness that affects lymphocytes, which are white blood cells.
According to a cremation approval report that Page Six was able to get, Hogan had previously been diagnosed with atrial fibrillation, which the Mayo Clinic defines as a fast and irregular heartbeat.

The legendary wrestler passed away in Florida on July 24 at the age of 71.
Officially, Hogan’s death was determined to be due to natural causes.
The Pinellas County Forensic Science Center also gave information on his cremation, according to Page Six.
A spokesperson for the medical examiner’s office told the outlet, “I’m not aware of when Mr. Bollea will be cremated, only that we’ve received a request for cremation approval.”
Hogan’s official cause of death confirms reports that he felt “weak” and “embarrassed” just before passing away.
Eric Bischoff, his good friend, shared details of his last-ever meeting with Hogan. Speaking on the 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff podcast, he explained, “I could tell he was weak. He sounded tired.”
[Hogan] said, “I really want to see you, but I’m kind of embarrassed for you to see me this way because I’ve been pretty sick When I look at you, I don’t see the same thing you see when you look in the mirror, so f*** that, I’ll be down Monday.”
Despite his health issues, Hogan’s charisma was still evident in their chats.
Eric shared, “It was work for him to have a conversation but he was the same guy.”
Brooke Hogan paid homage to her father and reflected on their tumultuous relationship on social media earlier this week.
The 37-year-old star said on Instagram, “When he left this earth, it felt like part of my spirit left with him. I felt it before the news even reached us. I know he’s at peace now, out of pain, and in a place as beautiful as he imagined. He used to speak about this moment with such wonder and hope. Like meeting God was the greatest championship he’d ever have.”
Additionally, Brooke used her article to “clear a few things up” about their distance from one another.
The realty star wrote, “It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business. I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself.”
In fact, as the wrestler struggled with health issues, Brooke and her husband, Steven Olesky, became closer to him.
She said: “We had been through almost 25 surgeries together, and then all of a sudden he didn’t want me at surgeries… Everything started getting covered in a thick veil. It was like there was a force field around him that I couldn’t get through. (sic)”
