Trump Fires Back at Kamala Harris Over Memoir Revelations
Harris Promotes Memoir on The View
Kamala Harris appeared on The View to promote her upcoming memoir 107 Days, which reflects on her short presidential campaign. During the interview, she called Donald Trump a “con man” and described the 2024 election as a close call.
In the book, Harris also reveals surprising private comments Trump allegedly made to her. She claims he once told her, “How do I say bad things about you now? I’m going to tone it down. You’re going to see.”
Trump Responds With Scathing Post
Trump quickly responded on Truth Social, unleashing a capital-filled rant aimed at Harris. Notably, he ignored her “con man” remark and instead attacked her claims about the 2024 election.
He wrote: “Kamala Harris, who is DUMB AS A ROCK, is going around saying that 2024 was the ‘closest Presidential Election in the 21st Century.’ Everyone knows this is a lie, and Fox News covered it as such!”
Trump Defends His Victory
Trump doubled down, portraying his 2024 win as a “landslide.” He cited the Electoral College tally of 312-226 and claimed sweeping victories in all seven swing states. He also argued he won the popular vote, despite what he called California’s “rigged” mail-in ballots.
“Kamala’s ‘closest in the 21st Century’ soundbite was, like everything else in the Democrat Party, A TOTAL LIE! I expect an apology,” Trump declared.
The Reality of the Numbers
While Trump did win all seven swing states, his victories were far narrower than he suggested. In Michigan, he secured just a 1.4% lead. Wisconsin was even tighter at 0.9%, while Georgia saw a margin of only 2.2%.
These razor-thin margins delivered Trump the Electoral College, but they also cast doubt on his claim of a sweeping landslide. In reality, the race looked more like a photo finish.
