Young Man Notices A Lady Following Him

She moved down the aisles, he noticed something unusual. An elderly lady seemed to be following him. She wasn’t rushing or being overly obvious, but there she was, keeping her distance but never too far behind. At first, the young man thought it might just be a coincidence. She stopped when he stopped, and whenever he reached for an item, she’d do the same. She didn’t seem to be interested in his groceries, but she kept looking at him. He felt a little uncomfortable, but he dismissed the thought and went about his shopping.

It wasn’t until they reached the checkout counter that the elderly woman approached him. She walked up to him slowly and said, “I hope I haven’t made you feel ill at ease; it’s just that you look so much like my late son.”
