A mother finds a scribbled grocery list in her 17-year-old son Nasir’s backpack—milk, cereal, diapers. Suspicious, she follows him and discovers a shocking scene: a toddler runs to him calling “Daddy.” Confronted at home, Nasir admits the child, Amina, might be his.
